In 1994 Ann Christin played the role of Maria in Rodger's and Hammerstein's musical "The Sound of Music" in Sarpsborg, Norway.

"The role of Maria was such a thrill to do, nobody thought I could do it. I usually get the "bitch" parts / very strong women parts, but I proved them wrong and got the best compliment ever: 'The role is made for you...'"
